Designed to give you the very best of Scafell Pike, our popular ‘open’ guided walks are available year-round. Led by qualified Mountain Leaders with the skills and knowledge to see you safely and enjoyably up (and down) the peak, leaving you free to soak up the experience without worrying about navigating or dealing with changing weather.
Whether you're new to Scafell Pike or a regular visitor seeking a different angle, our guided walks cater to everyone. Ahead of your walk, you'll receive helpful tips on gear and preparation, and our guide's insights into the mountain's wildlife, local stories and history add a new dimension to the day itself.
We keep our groups small to ensure safety and quality, with at least one leader for every 10 participants.
We held our first ever Snowdon by Night event in April 2022 and it's now one of the most popular fundraising events in the charity event calendar. Both events have completely sold out with 300 participants taking part in each and the first year raising over £85,000. We are on track for 2023 to exceed the total raised in the previous year.
