This was my first expedition with RAW Adventures. As a less experienced hill walker of 'mature' years, I was nervous beforehand about how I would cope. I needn't have worried.Our two group leaders, Stefan and Phil, went out of their way to support and encourage each one of us, whatever our age and abilities. It was a long, tough day but none of us were put under any pressure to go faster or walk harder than felt comfortable.
Thanks to them, I accomplished my goal of summiting Scafell Pike. It was a truly memorable experience and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend RAW to others.

Such a great experience. The guides Phil and Stefan were very knowledgeable and supportive the whole way. I came solo as did most of the others but everyone got chatting.This was my second group guided hike as I did Snowdon a few months ago. I’ve booked to do Ben Nevis now too!

Lovely guides, easy scenic route away from the crowds. We wanted to see another peak, just next to the Scafell Pike so the guides split so one group went straight up to Scafell and waited for us to regroup at the top. I would definitely book with these guys again.

I climbed Scafell Pike last night raising money for Wigan and Leigh Hospice and wanted to feedback that the whole RAW Adventures team were brilliant.They were clear in all instructions, patient with us and we reached the summit in plenty of time for sunset. A special mention to Milly who is a complete asset to your company - her energy, compassion and love of the outdoors was infectious.
I had a wonderful time and look forward to doing more hikes. Thank you x

Amazing experience, so well organised! We loved our Guide Barney he was incredible, so knowledgeable, friendly, and encouraging.I certainly wouldn't have made it to the top and back down again without him.

I've climbed both Snowdon and Scafell Pike with RAW Adventures groups, both have been brilliant experiences - really well organised, with excellent guides who make everyone feel both safe and welcome.Highly recommended for first-time hikers or anyone looking to enjoy some nature and meet new people

The guides were extremely professional - Phil (leader) ensured a good, smooth pace with regular, much needed breaks, often checking up on us (in terms of energy levels/how we were feeling) and Stefan was at the back, ensuring that nobody got lost and also providing additional support as/if needed - especially in terms encouragement and tips on where to put my feet while taking a next step on a challenging terrain.Very good group organisation too. I look forward to hiking with them again in the future, next time it'll be Ben Nevis! Thanks for this wonderful experience.

We had a fantastic day yesterday at Scafell Pike, our leader Amy, was friendly and made everyone feel welcome, she also made sure everyone felt supported during the tricky bits of the ascent. Her passion for the area and giving people the best experience is clear to see.Poor visibility at the summit, but some lovely scenery on the way back down, when the sky cleared. We recommend RAW Adventures and if you have Scafell Pike on your bucket list. it's definitely worth it!

Thanks for the opportunity to work on a RAW event - it was a fab experience from my POV. Overall, a successful event that was well co-ordinated and executed. Great links and mutual respect between team RAW and Help for Heroes crew.

Can't fault the guide (Barney) from RAW Adventures. By the end of the day, he felt like part of the group! Very professional and took the stress out of the climb/navigation of Scafell Pike.
